Step One: What’s my color?
We all have that color that we always wear unintentionally or intentionally, because we think it looks good. That’s great. When you find that color that looks best on you, stick with it. But don’t over -wear, because then you will start to feel like you are just wearing the same thing over and over. Some simple advice for which color looks best on you (and keep in mind, this may not work for everyone) is your skin tone. Your skin tone will determine which colors look best on you, but, of course, you should always wear what you feel most comfortable in. Darker skin tones will look good with brighter, more vibrant colors. Lighter tones will look good with soft, pastel colors, but neutral works for light and dark.

Step Two: Style

There are many different styles out there, and you should always choose which best suits your personality, NOT the one that people say is “trendy.” Be you, whether that is Vintage, Goth, Preppy, Edgy, Hipster, Casual, or your own unique style.

Step Three: Layering
Right now, we are in the perfect season for layering.  Yes, layering obviously means adding more layers, but there is a correct technique to it. First tip for layering is: don’t  layer colors that doesn’t match. Check the color wheel in the art room if you have a problem… So just use this as a guide. Second tip is: don’t layer things that are nowhere near the same size. If you have this huge fluffy hoodie on and and xs flannel on over it, chances are that you are going to look like you can’t breath in it.

Step Four: What NOT To Do
Don’t sag. Just don’t ok. I said it once, and I will say it again, please don’t sag. EVER. The MOST IMPORTANT thing you can get from this article is: DON’T TRY TO BE SOMEONE YOU ARE NOT! Be yourself, because there is nothing wrong with that…

P.S. Please still follow the dress code…(please refer to Day 5 of the Comic)
